For the past decades, TEC has been a key provider of engineering services to the various transportation and other departments of the Thai Government, including the Department of Highways, the Aviation Department, the Harbour Department, the Port Authority of Thailand, the Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand, the Royal Thai Air Force, and the Petroleum Authority of Thailand, to name the most prominent.

TEC’s latest achievement in transportation involves the Second Bangkok International Airport or Suvarnabhumi Airport both in the design and construction supervision of some packages of the Project. TEC has undertaken the design of Airport Maintenance Facilities and the construction supervision of the Ground Improvement of Airfield (East/West) runways, Landside Roads, etc.

TEC’s experience on waterworks projects includes Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority’s First Stage of the Bangkok Water Supply Improvement Program, and Phases 1 and 2 of the Second Stage Bangkok Water Supply Improvement Program. The services included review of Master Plan, planning, detailed design, preparation of tender documents and cost estimates, tender evaluation, construction supervision, plant commissioning assistance, and training. The total construction costs of these projects alone exceeded U.S. $ 700 million. TEC has also served the Provincial Waterworks Authority in their Khon Kaen, Chonburi and Songkhla – Hat Yai Water Projects.

I n the rural sector, TEC has served various agencies of the Thai Government. The firm has also undertaken international loan projects for water resources feasibility studies, surveys, design, detailed engineering and technical training.

TEC has provided engineering services for most of Thai Government’s projects financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development Bank (IBRD), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund of Japan (OECF) or presently named to be the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and other international and local financial institutions. Projects have been undertaken in both the public and private sectors.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Bangkok International Airport Development TEC has performed drainage engineering services f or such projects as the flood protection and drainage system for the British Embassy in Bangkok, the Bangkok Drainage Project for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and the design of a controlled (Polder) flood protection system for the Second Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi Airport) for New Bangkok I nternational Airport Co., Ltd.

TEC’s involvement in irrigation systems and water resources development has mainly been engineering services rendered to the Royal Irrigation Department and the Office of Accelerated Rural Development.

TEC was the Construction Supervision Consultant f or the Turnkey Project of Bangkok Stage-2 Wastewater Collection and Treatment System for the Department of Drainage and Sewerage, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

TEC has provided the private sector with engineering services for manufacturing plants and factories, hospitals and clinics, pipelines, housing projects, and office buildings.

From 1961 to the present, TEC has provided a wide range of services for construction supervision and project management, from small projects involving only a few million Baht in construction value to large projects with construction costs of over ten billion Baht.

TEC has provided environmental engineering and infrastructure services in investigation, development, facility design, construction management and commissioning facilities for water, wastewater, drainage and flood protection to the private and government sectors.

Urban Planning is one of the main services TEC has rendered to government sector. TEC has undertaken the Feasibility Study and Master Plan for the development of Rama 3 New Economic Area for Bangkok Metropolitan Administration
